810 Washington Avenue

In the summer of 2010, we were hired exclusively to market one mixed-use property at 810 Washington Avenue, located on the North West corner of St. John’s Place and Washington Avenue in the Prospect Heights section of Brooklyn, NY. The mixed-use property was composed of 6 rent stabilized apartment units and 2 retail units. There was one vacant apartment as well as one vacant retail unit which were both in need of an extensive renovation. We were able to generate 17 competitive offers in writing. Ultimately, we procured a buyer who was in a 1031 Exchange, able to obtain attractive financing from a local savings bank and closed in 90 days on an “All Cash” basis.
