158 Garfield Place

In the spring of 2011, we were hired exclusively to market an apartment building at 158 Garfield Place, in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn, NY. The building was in good condition and composed of 8 apartment units. The owner was retiring and no longer wanted the obligation of managing the property. In the first 30 days of marketing the property we were able to generate 28 offers in writing what were generated by both Marcus & Millichap agents and agents from other real estate broker. Ultimately, the seller signed a completely non contingent contract with a buyer who closed “All Cash” while receiving a loan from a bank. The final sales price occurred $95,000 above the asking price.
